What started as Aseda Beauty Salon — a handful of young women housed, fed, and trained in hairdressing, manicure, and pedicure — grew as graduates returned to bring their friends off the streets and into training. Twenty years on, Aseda Foundation operates in all sixteen regions of Ghana, recognized nationally for its impact.
Today the foundation partners with vetted masters and professionals across every trade group, providing free training, national certification, and start-up support so graduates can build a livelihood of their own — and, in time, train others.

To build a prosperous future for less privileged young people through intensive vocational and technical training — equipping them with practical and theoretical skills vital for personal and national development.
Mission
To join collaborative national efforts to reduce youth unemployment by providing artisan training and certification for less privileged youth, free of charge, across every community in Ghana.
